EVOLUTION OF THE MEDICAL LEGAL CONSULTING
Early in my career given the focus of my research on shoulder arthroscopy, cartilage, and pain pumps, I was involved in product liability litigation and defending doctors from a device that caused harm to patients. I spent several years as a Qualified Medical Examiner (QME) with Workers Compensation cases, but eventually retired.
The legal aspect of medicine piqued my interest and I began to review legal cases on behalf of insurance companies for personal injury cases. Plaintiff lawyers also sought my care and expertise for their patients, including on a lien basis. These experiences have given me a large spectrum of experience in expert witness reports, depositions, and court testimony.
